Silver bright steel, also known as polished steel, is a steel product with a polished or polished surface, and some are also made by precision turning. It is named after its shiny surface. Generally, it is common in the standards for steel bars and steel wires (in the form of straight bars), while in the standards for steel plates and strips, it is not called silver bright steel, but rather surface polished (ground) steel plates or strips.

Silver bright steel is commonly known as silver bright material. It refers to a round steel with no rolling defects or decarburization layer on the surface and a bright surface. It can be subdivided into peeled materials, polished materials, and polished materials.

Peeling material refers to round steel that is straightened after removing rolling defects and decarburization layers through turning and peeling (usually centerless turning).

Polished material refers to round steel that has been polished after drawing or peeling.

Polishing material refers to round steel that has been drawn, turned, peeled, or polished before undergoing polishing treatment.

The delivery status of silver bright steel is divided into four types:

Polishing (P): The polishing state should be polished after grinding, cutting, or cold drawing.

Polishing (M) and cutting (Q): The polished and cutting states should be polished or cut after cold drawing or heat treatment.

Grinding and pulling (ML): The grinding and pulling state should be made by cold drawing after grinding and cutting.

The delivery status of Yinliang steel should be specified in the contract, and if not specified, it should be delivered in a cut or polished state.
