Steel grade F52 (also known as AISI 329 and SS2324) is a stainless steel, acid resistant, duplex steel with better machinability. F52 duplex stainless steel has good machinability, weldability, and formability:

It can be welded without the need for welding materials similar to the base material. Steel should be welded using austenitic materials with minimal heat input. It can be both cold and hot. Steel is easier to process and has significantly better machinability, but its corrosion resistance is slightly inferior to 1.4462.
